iOS ToS (last updated June 30, 2026): users may not use EVA AI 'to generate, request, or share: i) any sexually explicit, pornographic, or adult-themed content'. This is our reading of the ToS; the App Store listing still flags 'Sexual Content or Nudity' descriptors and the UK regulator opened an age-check investigation into the operator (see safety).

- Ofcom closed its investigation into Novi Ltd (joi.com), opened on 2026-01-15. The sources we read do not say the EVA AI app was the investigated service. ofcom.org.uk
- Ofcom opened an Online Safety Act investigation into Novi Ltd, operator of an AI character companion chatbot service (Joi.com), over compliance with age-check requirements for pornographic content. EVA AI's Privacy Policy names NOVI LIMITED as data controller; whether the EVA AI app itself is covered by the investigation is not stated in the sources read.
